Rancho Vista is currently in a series called "Leaps Of Faith", and to tie into the theme we had a jump day at Skydive San Diego. We had group that "took a leap", as well as having some good barbeque and hangin' out with friends.

Check out this video. It nails authenticity in worship. Often, as the church, we place so much importance on the "experience" of worship and use it as the gauge for what is good worship and what is not so good. When in reality worship is not about how we feel when we worship, but it is about authentically reaching out to our Creator regardless if we "felt" it or not. Check it out. I welcome your comments.

I am sitting here waiting for my guitar to come, and getting a little impatient. So I found a video to pacify my restlessness. Check it out. It is the second guitar in the video.

If you read one of my earlier posts, you know that I have been looking for a new electric guitar. Well, I may have found it. It is an Epiphone Dot Studio. It is a semi-hollow body, and it sounds and plays really nice. For someone who has primarily played acoustic, this is a nice transition into the electric world. It really feels nice with my fat fingers! This guitar is another tool to compliment my Taylor 414CE.

So, now I am doing the responsible thing. I came home from Guitar Center and didn't buy anything so that I can mull it over. I have also settled on a Line 6 Floor Pod for my effects. This should be fun.

I have always tried to explain rss feeds to people, and how beneficial they can be. Rather than you having to go get content on the web, you can have it delivered to you. Whether it be blogs, podcast, or other rss enabled sites, rss feeds will save you time and energy as you sift through the vast ocean of information that we call the internet.

This is a video that explains so much better than I ever could.

There are two types of Internet users, those that use RSS and those that don't. This video is for the people who could save time using RSS, but don't know where to start.
